TEACHING
Music education continues to play an important role in Christin"s life. She continues to teach students from beginners to advanced players in privately and in school settings. She loves to ground students in the theory and history of music along with the skills and thrill of performing a variety of music including classical, jazz, popular, improvisation and world music.
Currently she is the director of a high school instrumental program where she teaches the large ensemble, chamber groups, advanced placement music theory and music foundation classes.
She also teaches private music lessons on clarinet, sax and flute to students at any age, beginners to advanced. The lessons are individually designed to teach music reading and performance in a fun, interactive, student-focused, one-on-one setting. Her goal is to meet the individual needs and musical goals of each student while staying rooted in the fundamentals of music reading, music theory, technique, fingerings, tone quality, articulation, musicianship and improvisation.

Christin teaches instrumental music ensembles, music theory and
music foundation classes along
with private lessons.
